Here is a story for you.

Once upon a time 6 amazing and beautiful girls lived at the Glenwood apartments. One Sunday, they decided to be righteous girls and go to church. They left their apartment in a hurry at 6:45, not knowing that one of their bedroom windows was open and without a screen. While they were gone some crazy crack heads broke into their apartment and stole 3 laptops, 2 backpacks, a wallet, an iPod, and a camcorder (which belonged to the most awesome girl of all....me) When the girls came home, they noticed a chair was knocked over beneath the window that was left open. They joked about how somebody must have broken in because somebody climbing through a window that is 10 feet off the ground seemed like an absurd thought. But alas, one by one each girl noticed that their belongings were missing. They called the police and found out that apartments had been robbed all over campus. A few days later, the girl who had her wallet stolen received a call from the police officer saying that somebody had been trying to use her credit card to buy, drumroll please....ANOTHER LAPTOP. The police were able to track these awful people down and arrest them. They are currently being charged with 23 counts of theft. Then the story was on the news. You should watch this clip.

Today I went to my very first rugby game (or is it a match? obviously, I am no expert.) with some friends. BYU vs. Utah, baby! And of course BYU won. Of course.

Rugby is actually a really cool sport. A gentleman's sport, from what I hear. I am happy to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Well, as you may know, I love the movies. Also, I love the Oscars. And I love James Franco....(he is my boyfriend after all ;) ) So to celebrate his hosting the Academy Awards this year, Megan and I decided to throw an Oscar party.

It. Was. Awesome.

We even had a red carpet. We are legit. Also, congrats to Megan for having the most correct predictions of which films would win with 11.

Now, you may not believe this, but working in a photo studio means that we are around cameras.

A LOT.

And sometimes, those cameras document some interesting tales. Like the one about the pizza.

Well, Selena and I wanted to play video games. So, I went to Pizza Pie Cafe, and being the genius that I am, I bought 2 pizzas and an order of cinnamon sticks. For 2 people.

Needless to say, we had leftovers. A LOT of leftovers.

Well, things have been kind of slow at work, so we seem to have a lot of free time on our hands. During that free time, we ate all of the pizza.

I feel reeeealllly sick.

Okay. Its official. I am THE WORST EVER AT BLOGGING. But its a new year, and I am going to be posting more in 2011.

A few weeks ago, I was able to volunteer at the Sundance Film Festival. It was AMAZING. Not to drop names, but James Franco asked me for directions, and I met Ben Foster. I also saw Elijah Wood, Ryan Seacrest, and Morgan Spurlock. It was so crazy! It was such a neat experience. I would love to work in the film industry when I grow up so being a part of it for just a couple weeks was great.

This is at the Rose Wagner Theater in Salt Lake where I saw a screening of "The Son of No One"

I honestly don't know if I've ever been so cold in my life.

Look at me. I have regularly posted on my blog for the last 3 weeks. Holy moly this is a record! Ha ha, I'm not even sure anyone reads this, but I am still proud of myself.

Well, onto the big news. I am back in Utah. Its a miracle. My dad and I spent 36 hours straight driving to Payson from Charlotte. Longest ride of my life. Okay, well enough said. I want to forget about it.

The other day I heard Taylor Swift's new song and it is pretty much awesome. If you haven't listened to it yet, then you probably should. And I am making it easy for you. Here it is, folks.

Hey y'all. Life is good in NC. I ended up staying here all summer. I've been trying to stay busy with work so I will use that as my excuse for not posting all summer.

For the last 3-4 weeks (its all a blur), I've been staying in hotels. Its not the greatest thing, especially since I'm the only girl. I've had to deal with a lot of annoying male habits like leaving the toilet seat up. Bah. Other than that its been okay.

There are only 2 weeks left of the summer which means I will be back in the promised land soon. I've decided I LOVE the south. I definitely will be back.

A couple of weeks ago my parents flew out from utah to visit for a few days. We went to Brattonsville (where they filmed the patriot) and Charleston. It was awesome. I took 3 days off from work which was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. Seriously.

I'm goin' to North Carolina y'all. In two days. Just for a few weeks. Then I will zip on up to Baltimore, Maryland. I will stay there for the summer slaving away in attics in 90+ percent humidity. My life is good. Reaaally good. (said Nacho style.) On the upside (to all you Utahns) the ten day forecast for NC is mid-seventies. Yes, it is all right for you to be jealous. So anyway, I'll see you kids in August.

No, not the movie. The book. I have been reading it. I am only on chapter 5, but I am addicted already. I definitely think you should read it. Well at least to chapter 5.

For the last few months I have been working at The Cocoa Bean Cupcake Cafe. Its a new cupcake shop in provo. If you haven't been, you must go. You've never had a cupcake until you've had one of these. They will blow your MIND. Especially Raspberry Chocolate Cheesecake and Party in my Mouth. (Both have Nutella on them.)

Merry Christmas

Finals week ended on December 12, but lucky for me I was finished with finals a day early so I went home. It was nice being home for a while. I can't really say I did anything super exciting the first few weeks of Christmas break....sigh. I started working again at Inkley's the second week I was home. It was nice having something to do, but I hate Inkley's and Dave Ritz with all my heart. Anyway, Christmas was a lot of fun. I got a Manfrotto tripod which made my life worth living pretty much. Eventually I'll have enough money to buy a head for it so I can actually use it. Ha ha.

On December 29, I went to the Jazz

game with Kassie. She won the tickets at work, and we sat on the EIGHTH ROW! It was INSANE. I still can't believe how close we were. It was by far the best game I've ever been to. Ginger the Chicken and My Road Trip

Okay so this is the second go around for this post. My computer had issues earlier so we'll see how this goes. Last week our friends Kyle and Kenyon from Payson came down to Cedar City to visit us. It was so fun to see them. They spent the first night at Britney and Camille's apartment and then the next night and my apartment. The night they were staying at our apartment, Whitney's boyfriend Jace showed up on our doorstep with a big cardboard box that was all taped up. We were kind of confused because Whitney was gone somewhere and we had no idea he was coming over. After he left Britney and I opened up the box and inside there was a CHICKEN. Yes, you heard me right, a chicken. A very alive chicken with feathers and everything. It turns out Jace was asking her to a dance that is coming up. Anyway, we waited for Whitney to come home so she could see her gift, and when she finally did a dumb Avon lady came over to talk to Whit. After an extremely long, anxious wait the blasted woman finally left, and we took Whitney to the bathroom (where the box was) so she could open it up and see what Jace had left her. What she didn't know is that while she was gone, I had taken a knife and cut out the bottom of the box so when she picked it up the chicken would fall out and run all over the place. (Jace had informed us that it was a really mean chicken and would bite and scratch you.)

When she picked the box up to take it into her room, the bottom didn't fall out which I was thoroughly disappointed about. But anyway, Whitney opened up the box and freaked out, just like we had anticipated. She kept saying, GUYS! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH A CHICKEN?! WE AREN'T ALLOWED TO HAVE PETS HERE!" I just loved the fact that she would even consider keeping the chicken as a pet. (Whitney grew up on a farm.) We convinced her that jace told us how nice the chicken was and that she should pick it up. Ha ha ha. I know, I'm the best roommate ever, right? Fortunately for her, it must have been so tired from sitting in a box all day that it was too lazy to peck her eyes out. Whitney decided she wanted to name it Ginger after the chicken on Chicken Run. After a while, we had to find some way to get rid of the chicken. We had a number of ideas one of which included us setting it free in the library. That would have been a funny option, but we value our educations a little too much. So we decided to set it free in our friends' apartment. Their door is never locked and we've just walked in on more than one occasion. We thought it would be hilarious for them to come home to a chicken just chilling in their house.

In honor of them all being loyal McCain supporters, we almost tied an SUU Students for Obama sticker to its leg, but that would have made it too obvious who it was that left such a surprising visitor in their home, and I'm rather attached to my sticker. I may have expressed my love for Barack (or should I say President Obama?) a few too many times to them. ANYWAY, we went over to their house and the door was locked! We were so bummed. We headed over to Juniper Halls which are the dorms across the street from where we live and set our little friend free in our friend's room. It was hilarious. Ginger pooped in his room, and I heard they had to call animal control to get it out. Animal Control! Ha ha ha for a chicken!

Anyway the next day, I skipped school and drove out to Colorado Springs with my dad, to go to the BYU vs. Airforce game. It was so much fun. We stayed with the Nimers.

was fun to see everybody. Saturday morning before the game, my dad and I went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It was pretty sweet because the zoo is built up on the mountain.

Anyway, it was freezing, but they had a lot of cool animals, and we got to get really close to them. I petted a giraffe. I guess they have like 19 giraffes out there. Oh and don't worry, in honor of the upcoming game, we went and saw the cougars. They had this super cool room where there were over a hundred birds and they would just fly down and land on your head or your shoulder and you could feed them.

The BYU game was awesome. It was incredibly cold, but it was awesome. It was hard telling the Airforce and BYU fans apart because everyone was wearing blue, but I was surprised how many BYU fans were there. We had a good time. Then Sunday morning we drove back.
